New senior appointment for InQpharm to develop its New Business Units

Stephen Watson joins InQpharm on 8th August 2011 as Director of New Business Units. He will be responsible for the e-commerce and animal health units. The e-commerce business of InQpharm has been successfully established and will now be further developed. The animal health business will encompass both companion animal supplements and livestock feed. Additionally Stephen will assume responsibility for Corporate Communications. In this new role Stephen will report directly to Thomas Hafner (CEO) and Carin Beumer (CFO).

Significant investment has been made in these two new business units. A range of products has already been successfully launched online. Meanwhile feasibility studies and research into the companion animal supplements and livestock feed markets have been undertaken. Stephen will be leading the teams to move these businesses forward to help InQpharm achieve its ambitious growth plans.

Stephen brings a wealth of experience, having spent over 25 years in a variety of roles with Nestle in Europe and Asia. He had assignments in Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, Russia, Switzerland and his most recent post was Marketing and Communications Director for Nestlé Romania. He has consistently achieved dynamic and sustainable business growth by increasing brand equity, value share and profitability in diverse situations for both international and local brands. He also built and developed high-performing teams in a variety of circumstances. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Exeter University and attended leadership development programmes at IMD Business School, Switzerland.
