InQpharm launches Nasya™ Allergy and Nasya™ Kids Allergy

InQpharm launches Nasya™ Allergy and Nasya™ Kids Allergy, a range of natural products for nasal allergy protection. Nasya™ is clinically proven to be effective for nasal allergies such as Allergic Rhinitis (Hayfever). It protects users from allergy symptoms like itchy and runny nose, sneezing and nasal congestion. It also prevents the progression towards other allergy related symptoms that includes watery eyes and wheezing. Nasya™ Allergy and Nasya™ Kids Allergy are the first two amongst a line of several Nasya™ products that will be launched at a later date.

Nasya™ is drug-free. It does not have any pharmacological activity as it only contains inert ingredients. Nasya™ acts as a physical barrier in the nasal mucosal linings to prevent contact with allergens or substances that cause allergic reactions. Prevention from contact with allergens is the first line of defence in allergic rhinitis. Thus, Nasya™ effectively provides protection from nasal allergy.

Two clinical studies conducted have demonstrated the efficacy of the thixotropic nasal preparation that forms the basis of Nasya™. (The assessments were conducted by repeated allergen provocation in an environmental exposure unit, a specially designed challenge room that ensures a highly controlled and standardised exposure to airborne allergens.)
