InQpharm boosts R&D team with a new high-level recruit

Dr Karsten Brandt joins InQpharm on 1st May 2010 as Scientific Advisor to further strengthen the company’s research and development team. The appointment brings extensive research and development expertise and Dr Brandt will be working both with the R&D team at InQpharm’s headquarters in Malaysia and their European affiliate company in Berlin.

Dr Karsten Brandt has over 10 years’ experience in academic and industry research and will have an advisory and training role with the research and development team at InQpharm’s headquarters in Malaysia. With a PhD in Science and specialising in fat metabolism and the control of food intake, Karsten will provide support to the scientific research area, which includes pre-clinical and clinical research and the development of pipeline products across the various therapeutic areas and regulatory regions.
